SAFE WATER FOR EVERY COMMUNITY

Clean water is
a fundamental
human right

Globally, 1 in 4 people still lack access to safe drinking water. Fly for Water works hand-in-hand with local communities to change that, for Madagascar, and for the world.

Access to clean
water changes
everything

Access to clean and safe drinking water is a fundamental human right, yet millions are forced to drink from contaminated sources, leading to diarrhoea, cholera and other water-borne diseases.

Women and girls bear the heaviest burden, walking for hours each day to haul water that still isn't safe to drink.

WHERE WE WORK

Madagascar

Water insecurity in Madagascar is a pressing issue, nearly half the country's population lacks access to clean drinking water, driving health risks and holding back economic development.

Climate change, deforestation and inadequate infrastructure make it imperative to act. Over 80% of the population lives in rural areas, where only 34% have access to safe water.

"Fly for Water was born from a family's deep connection to Madagascar, and a simple belief that no one should have to walk for hours for water that isn't even safe to drink."
